To help us to continue to grow our offerings to our clients, we are in search of a Loan Processor to specialize in ensuring that loans progress smoothly from application to closing while adhering to all regulatory requirements.

As an ideal candidate, you will have a keen skillset for communication, organization, and schedule flexibility. You will ensure that loan applications are complete, accurate, and compliant with lending regulations, working closely with loan originators, borrowers, lending companies, and underwriters to facilitate the approval and closing of mortgage loans.

You should be a confident leader with experience in the lending or administrative industry that will think outside of the box, is highly organized and manages their time efficiently. Willing to grow and strengthen relations with employees, vendors, and consumers— focusing on gaining trust, ensuring effective communication and a smooth delightful loan experience.

Responsibilities
  • Application Accuracy:
    Ensure that loan applications are complete, accurate, and contain all required documentation, reducing the risk of errors or delays in processing.
  • Compliance:
    Verify that loan applications comply with lending regulations, as well as lender-specific guidelines and policies, to mitigate regulatory risks.
  • Efficiency:
    Streamline the loan processing timeline by promptly gathering and verifying all necessary documentation and information, reducing processing time and improving borrower satisfaction.
  • Documentation Management:
    Organize and maintain thorough records of loan applications, correspondence, and documentation, ensuring easy retrieval and compliance with record-keeping requirements.
  • Communication:
    Maintain clear and consistent communication with loan officers, underwriters, borrowers, and other stakeholders throughout the loan process, addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
  • Customer Service:
    Provide excellent customer service to borrowers by addressing their inquiries, keeping them informed about the status of their applications, and offering guidance throughout the process.
  • Quality Control:
    Conduct thorough reviews of loan files to identify any discrepancies or missing information, proactively addressing issues before they impact the underwriting and approval process.
  • Coordination:
    Collaborate with various parties involved in the loan process, including loan officers, underwriters, appraisers, title companies, and closing agents, to ensure a smooth and coordinated process.
  • Timely Closing:
    Facilitate the timely closing of loans by coordinating with closing agents and attorneys, ensuring that all necessary documentation is in place.
  • Conditions Clearing:
    Work closely with borrowers and underwriters to address and resolve any conditions or stipulations set by underwriters, expediting the loan approval process.
  • Regulatory Reporting:
    Ensure that all loan processing activities adhere to regulatory and compliance standards, providing necessary reports and documentation when required.
  • Risk Management:

    Identify and mitigate potential risks in the loan application and approval process, minimizing the likelihood of issues that could lead to loan defaults or regulatory penalties.
  • Efficient Workflow:
    Optimize the workflow and processes within the loan processing department to maximize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall productivity.
  • Training and Development:
    Stay updated on industry changes and best practices to continuously improve skills and knowledge relevant to the role.
  • Borrower Satisfaction:
    Ensure a positive borrower experience by keeping applicants informed, addressing their concerns promptly, and facilitating a smooth and hassle-free loan process.
  • Documentation Accuracy:
    Ensure that all loan documents are accurate, complete, and properly executed, reducing the risk of legal or operational issues.
  • Cost Efficiency:
    Manage loan processing costs effectively by optimizing resources, reducing errors, and minimizing rework.
