Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Oversee the general ledger accounting process, ensuring accurate recording of transactions and proper account reconciliations. Review and interpret financial data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts in collaboration with department heads and senior management. Monitor budget performance, identify variances, and provide analysis to support decision-making. Implement strategies to optimize financial performance and achieve budgetary goals.
  • Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow projections and ensure adequate liquidity to meet operational needs. Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable processes to optimize cash flow efficiency. Implement controls and procedures to mitigate cash flow risks and improve working capital management.
  • Compliance and Internal Controls: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies, including tax filings, financial reporting, and audit requirements. Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data. Coordinate external audits and facilitate the resolution of audit findings and recommendations.
  • Financial Analysis and Decision Support: Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, investment evaluations, and business initiatives. Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to drive profitability and growth. Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and revenue enhancement.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the finance team. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration on financial objectives.
