US Individual Tax – 1040

• Review all types of US/ Canada individual income tax returns.
• Demonstrate a high level of proficiency of tax technical knowledge.
• Manage the engagement team - Set performance measurements and ensure that performance goals, including engagement economics, turnaround time and quality targets are met.
• Identify and lead new services that the service line can perform at the VVN.
• Develop, mentor, and supervise Associates & Specialists.
• Demonstrate leadership and executive presence.
• Communicate progress and project status to all stakeholders.
• Knowledge of the firm policies related to confidentiality and data privacy, client acceptance and engagement letters, tax return preparer guidelines and knowledge-sharing. Adhere to practice protocol and other internal processes consistently

• Eligibility criteria:
  
  Qualification:
  
  Commerce Graduate/Postgraduate, MBA.
• Experience:
  
  4+ years in Canada and/or US Individual Taxation in a recognized firm or Big
  4.
• Should be a signer of Canada and/or US Individual Income tax returns for a minimum of 12-18 months.
• A US CPA or Enrolled Agent would be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in team management and responsible for quality control within the team.
• Possess sound technical knowledge and excellent communication skills, along with analytical thinking ability.
• Should have experience of working closely with foreign offices and clients.
• Capability to guide and support team members with technical stands and queries.
• Willingness to support team functions and experience in mentoring juniors in learning basic and new tax technical topics.
