Full-Time Join a Human Robot Development Team

Join our humanoid robotics team to innovate advanced robots, collaborate with experts, enhance your skills, and create transformative technologies that help shape the future of human-robot interaction.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for planning and optimizing production systems by applying systematic approaches to boost productivity and profitability. Ensure the continuous improvement of operations across the value stream.
  • Plan, analyze and optimize the production system.
  • Create and maintain IE master data (e.g. Routing, BOM, Work center).
  • Manufacturing Method Optimization:
Analyze and refine the fabrication processes for high-tolerance humanoid actuator components (housings, rotors, and custom shafts).
  • Precision Assembly Design:
Develop and implement optimized assembly workflows for complex gearboxes. You will focus on minimizing stack‑up errors and ensuring repeatable torque‑density performance in planetary and strain wave sets.
  • Advanced DFM/DFA:
Lead Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) initiatives. You will work directly with the R&D team to influence gear profiles and component geometry to reduce cycle times and costs.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional projects across the entire value stream related to process improvements, change management and product launches.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing engineering, with preference for candidates from the robotics, aerospace, or automotive drivetrain industries.
  • In‑depth knowledge of Planetary Gears and Strain Wave Gears (Harmonic Drives), including the specific challenges involved in their assembly.
  • Demonstrated success in simplifying manufacturing processes and reducing complexity through design interventions at early development stages (DFM/DFA).
  • Skilled in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Experience using high‑precision metrology tools.
  • Proficient in CAD software such as Solid Works and Siemens NX.
  • Experienced with manufacturing simulation tools including Any Logic, Arena, Flex Sim, or PCM.
  • Practical experience with automated assembly systems and integration of robotic workcells.
  • Familiarity with specialized coatings and heat‑treatment processes used in high‑wear gear components.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification a plus.
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the United States. (

    Note:
