Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our team in the public water and wastewater treatment industry. You will collaborate closely with company leadership to prepare accurate bids for public works projects, interpret drawings and specifications, and help secure competitive and profitable work.

Responsibilities

+ Review and analyze plans, specifications, and project documents to determine project scope throughout the project.

+ Negotiate and issue all purchase orders and subcontracts required, manage the submittal process, and coordinate material deliveries.

+ Coordinate with the project Superintendent to plan and develop the project schedule, and update and distribute schedule updates regularly.

+ Communicate with the General Superintendent and project Superintendent to coordinate manpower, equipment, and methods to perform tasks safely and efficiently.

+ Make regular job site visits for updates and continued coordination with the site Superintendent.

+ Communicate and correspond with the owner and design engineer on all aspects of the project and meetings, including pre-construction meetings.

+ Prepare a schedule of values, monthly pay applications, and review and approve subcontractor and supplier invoices.

+ Estimate and prepare change requests and manage change orders.

+ Update management regularly on project progress and issues.

+ Track, update, and prepare cost-to-complete reports for all ongoing projects.

+ Recognize, manage, and determine responsibility for risk, including out-of-scope work, changes, unforeseen conditions, interference, and delays.

Essential Skills

+ 2+ years of construction management experience

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Projects

This is a Contract position based out of Alvada, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $44.00/hr.
