Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing cost estimates for blasting/painting, steel works, mechanical works, and general rig repairs.
- Perform quantity take-offs from structural and piping drawings and site walk-downs.
- Prepare material take-offs.
- Prepare basic pricing sheets and tender appendices.
- Support preparation of bid clarifications and documentation.
- Interpret technical drawings.
- Perform detailed cost build-ups; manpower, material, equipment, subcontractors, consumables, logistics, craneage, scaffolding, blasting/painting, steel renewal, mechanical/electrical scopes.
- 3-5 years in shipyard, marine or EPC
- Knowledge of rig or marine industry is a must.
- Strong Excel knowledge and attention to detail.
