YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
The What:As an NDT Engineer at Blackwave, you will develop and apply non-destructive testing methods to ensure the safety and quality of our aerospace components. You will plan, conceptualize, and execute structured inspection campaigns while generating reliable and traceable measurement data.

YOUR MISSION
- Provide NDT Methods:
Develop and technically provision non-destructive test methods and related test setups to support product validation and quality assurance. - Plan and Execute Inspection Campaigns:
Conceptualize, prepare, and implement structured NDT campaigns in alignment with project and production requirements. - Document with Precision:
Prepare comprehensive inspection reports and ensure clear, traceable documentation of all NDT activities. - Evaluate Measurement Data:
Analyze and assess complex imaging and measurement data, translating findings into clear and defensible quality decisions. - Drive Continuous Improvement:
Contribute to the advancement of modern NDT techniques and support the implementation of innovative inspection approaches. - Collaborate On-Site:
Work closely with interdisciplinary teams in an on-site environment to ensure efficient inspection processes and strong cross-functional alignment.
- Degree:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or arelatedfield. - Experience:
First professional experience in non-destructive testing, quality engineering, or inspection environments within aerospace or high-performance industries. - Leadership:
Ability to take ownership of technical inspection topics and proactively drive tasks forward in a structured manner. - Hard
Skills:
Solid understanding of non-destructive testing principles and engineering-based problem solving.
- Soft Skills:
Curious, motivated, and hands-on mindset with a strong willingness to learn and contribute to product safety and quality. - Languages:
Fluent in English;
German is a nice to have for on-site collaboration.
