What you can expect:As a Service Technician (m/f/d) in our Operations & Maintenance Team, you will be on the front line of keeping large‑scale solar PV plants running reliably and safely across the UK. You’ll work hands‑on with modern equipment, troubleshoot real technical issues on‑site and ensure maximum availability of PV assets that power thousands of households every day.
Expect a varied field‑based role with a high level of responsibility, structured planning of assignments and the freedom to work independently – backed by a strong technical support team.
Tasks:- Diagnosing faults on inverters, strings and monitoring systems on utility‑scale PV sites
- Performing planned preventive maintenance and fast corrective interventions
- Coordinating and supervising subcontractors during service and repair works
- Carrying out Health & Safety inspections and acceptance testing after maintenance or repair
- Supporting the Technical Asset Manager with technical assessments, reporting and on‑site expertise
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards on all sites
- Successfully completed apprenticeship in the field of electrical engineering, power systems engineering or renewable engineering
- At least 3 years of professional experience
- Experience in service on utility scale PV sites
- Holder of a current ECS Gold card
- Good knowledge of MS‑Office
- Team player with an efficient way of working
- Distinct analytical thinking and high customer orientation
- Open, trusting and professional cooperation with a focus on success and enjoyment in daily work
