Salary Full-Time. Function:
Engineering. Pay Grade: USXX – Grade USXX Salaried 57. Min salary: $77,065.30;
Mid: $. Bonus Plan: AIP. Target Bonus: 8%.
Develop project cost and schedule estimates for Build-to-Print based requests for quotes. Identify the manufacturing process, accurately develop the cost model, create quotations, and provide other supporting information as needed to sell Lincoln Electric Automation-designed equipment.
Role Qualifications- Must be familiar with company quality objectives and contribute to continuous improvement objectives
- Communicate issues that could impact customer satisfaction
- Work well in a team environment with Sales, Business Development Engineers, Project Management, Engineering Teams, Management, and support functions
- Evaluate the feasibility of Build-to-Print projects based on data from Sales, Engineering, Management, and Customers
- Identify, develop, and assist in developing tools for the quoting process
- Help develop manufacturing processes and concepts capable of producing systems or products
- Assist with customer communication, presentations, and trade-related events
- Follow up with sales, customers, and representatives as necessary
- Follow ISO procedures within the department
- Participate in activities to ensure continued process improvements
- Minimum High School Diploma (Associate degree in technical discipline preferred)
- Basic CAD experience (3D modeling a plus)
- Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Effective writing and communication skills
- Commitment to company values
- Educational, training, and experience requirements may be modified at management team’s discretion
- Ability to work with multiple teams and internal contacts to ensure customer project success
- 2-4 years experience working with customers and suppliers
- Computer proficiency, including spreadsheet, word processing, and project management software
- FMEA, Equipment Capability, Safety (OSHA standards)
- Understand the company’s EHS policy and how it relates to this job
- Be aware of OSHA and EPA laws and regulations, and company plant rules and regulations
- Work safely and in an environmentally friendly manner; observe all EHS procedures
- EHS procedures are located on the ISO drive
- Notify the supervisor of any safety hazards, equipment issues, or questions regarding EHS procedures
- Attend required EHS training
