Job Posting ExternalJob Responsibilities:
Under the guidance of engineers, work with general purpose or embedded software systems to influence the design and development of innovative forklifts, material handling equipment, and related systems.
- Write and/or modify computer programs using Java, Angular, C/C++, C#, Python or similar computer language.
- Test and review work by other developers.
- Work with business analysts to clarify requirements.
- Utilize Scrum as a member of the development team.
- For embedded positions:
- Develop software for Real‑time Operating Systems or Android applications.
- Conceptualize ideas for software control of sensors, actuators and systems.
- Conduct bench‑level unit testing and on‑vehicle verification and validation tests.
Job Qualifications:
- Pursuing a four‑year college degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems or related field.
- Experience in programming and analysis, along with strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills necessary.
- Candidate must be a highly self‑motivated individual with an attention to detail.
- Ability to follow and write testing procedures to confirm product quality.
- Candidate must have a reliable means of transportation.
