Senior Metrology Technician - 3D CMM & Gear Measurement

Depending on the machine projects, you will carry out a variety of tasks in the measuring room.

Your duties

• Metro logical support for the application technology department
• Operation and programming of various measuring machines:
  • Tactile 3D coordinate measuring machines:
    Zeiss (Calypso) and Leitz (Quindos)
  • Zoller Genius for tool measurement
  • Klingelnberg P26 for measuring gearing parts
  • Mahr Konturograph and roughness measurement
  • Alicona, optical form and roughness measurement
• Development of measurement strategies, measurement methods and measurement programmes for complex geometries and free forms
• Creation and analysis of measurement protocols
• Supervision of machine projects from a metrological point of view over the entire duration

Your profile

• Completed training in a metal profession with further training as a master craftsman/technician
• Ideally several years of experience in the field of 3D coordinate metrology
• Analytical thinking and high quality awareness
• Structured way of working and hands-on mentality
• Strong communication skills and customer orientation
• Good language skills in German and English
