We are seeking a Manufacturing Technical Engineer to join a dynamic team supporting a major automotive manufacturing original equipment manufacturer (OEM). This role involves collaborating with product design teams to ensure manufacturability, conducting feasibility studies, and supporting new model development from the trial phase to implementation.

• Collaborate with product design from feasibility through the design phase to ensure product manufacturability within factory capabilities.
• Conduct feasibility studies on new technologies, design concepts, and equipment.
• Review drawings with internal teams and customers to verify design accuracy.
• Identify past model problems, cost-saving opportunities, and safety concerns.
• Communicate change points and submit countermeasure request forms to the R&D Department for improvements in quality, cost, delivery, safety, and assembly.
• Develop and present project status updates, change points, recommendations, and document trial problems while discussing countermeasures.
• Support quality issues and recommend appropriate countermeasures.
• Assist in equipment installations and robot programming.
• Prepare and execute build events effectively.

• Proficiency in manufacturing processes and equipment installation.
• Experience in Lean manufacturing and process improvement.
• Ability to develop standardized document templates and perform data loading.
• Skills in data auditing and conducting equipment/process time studies.
• Capability to evaluate and implement plant safety measures.
• Proficiency in maintaining AutoCAD layouts.

• Experience with Catia (V6 & V5), AutoCAD, and MS Office tools for reporting.
• Knowledge of process data development analysis and M.O.S.T methodology.

The position is set in a manufacturing environment within an automotive OEM. Employees will use technologies such as Catia and AutoCAD, and are expected to adhere to safety protocols while working collaboratively in a team-focused atmosphere.

This is a Contract position based out of Raymond, OH.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
