Job Description HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT- Support the Head of BA Processes & Projects to implement Group Sector SCM and BA SCM standards and processes for end-to-end SCM, ensuring SCM performance/excellence for the S4 Hana Project and all plants.
- Align with GS SCM on developing and implementing global SCM processes to reach state-of-the-art SCM.
- Continuously review and monitor SCM process performance to identify improvement and innovation opportunities.
- Support in identifying and driving process improvements to increase performance and reliability and ensure process compliance.
- Assist in implementing and/or driving projects and processes to continuously improve supply chain processes and contribute to overall Business Area objectives.
- Support all SCM activities regarding SCM projects and standards within the organization for S4 Hana and in other plants.
- Support processes for all product lines where needed.
- Provide and complete all end-to-end SCM processes, applications, and training programs for new hires/transitioned personnel.
- Support the implementation of SCM systems, aiming to maximize efficiency, reliability, time/cost effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor process and system utilization across the complete SCM organization and coordinate countermeasures with the Head of SCM BA to ensure sustainability.
- Support GS SCM people development, training, and the competence approach.
- Refine and maintain qualification concepts, skills matrices, job descriptions, training plans, and training materials for all SCM-related functions.
- Ensure teamwork, cooperation and alignment with GS SCM, other BA SCMs, and all relevant functions.
- Proactively communicate cross-functionally, continuously improving/optimizing interfaces using standardized digital solutions where possible.
- Bachelor’s degree in SCM, Economics, Engineering, Information Technology, Operations, Business or related field
- 5 years of professional experience in supply chain management and/or operations, or 10+ years in lieu of degree
- Experience in design of SCM processes
- Strong know-how of common SCM tools/methods, with familiarity with supply chain systems, processes, and standards
- Strong SAP competencies/applications, S4 Hana / others
- Project management experience in SCM projects
- Proven track record in implementing SCM processes and systems
- Solid experience in international SCM projects
- Must be able to travel domestically and internationally
- Experience working on an international level in projects and/or with direct responsibility
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required; no visa sponsorship available
