Process Engineer

I Liquid Process Engineering - Dairy & Beverages

• Understand the Contractual/sales technical requirements
• Prepare P&IDs with tags & sizes - for process with support of design team
• Prepare Utility P&IDs/schematics for utilities - as required
• Prepare technical request for Qtns (RFQ) - Process Compo, Valves & Equip
• Prepare technical request for Qtns (RFQ) - Process Instruments
• Prepare technical request for Qtns (RFQ) - Utility components & Valves
• Technical specs for process Tanks, Ordering, GA Drwg review & approval
• Prepare Utility Consumption List
• Ordering and technical clarifications to suppliers
• Prepare Equipment list with details on components/equip
• Prepare process description for automation
• Process automation FAT,actions for corrections if any
• Support on BOM for installation

• Prepare Equipment Layout ( with design team)
• Review Piping 3D Layout ( with design team)
• Valve matrix / Clusters - 3 D review as per process
• Support to site installation team on required info/clarification
• Final installation inspection/Walkthrough to ensure installation as per P&

• Support to PM for preparing commissioning schedule
• I/O testing, instrument Settings/Calibration
  - Support to automation team
• Process Lines/Equip Flushing, Sequence testing with water
• CIP testing/commissioning for all objects/process units
• Product tests/Settings and product trials
• Operators training, training material, Process Operation Documents
• Support for Project Closer-Punchlist closer, tech support during initial productions if any

• Support to Sales Team for technical review, new solutions, utility consumption etc
• Support to Service team to develop process solution to address the issue & support for execution
• Support the standardization activities for liquid process
• Support and guide junior process engineers on engg/commissioning

• Customer (internal/external) satisfaction.
• Timely completion with no issues on process engineering/commissioning
• Required documentation for project execution
• Compliance with process requirements of projects.

• Quality & speed of process engineering & commissioning

• Engineering qualification in Dairy/Food Eng, Chemical Eng or Mechanical Eng
• Work experience in Dairy & Beverage Engineering companies
• Work experience of minimum 4-5 years for Process Engineer in similar functions in a Food, Dairy or Beverage process engineering organization incl.
• Good Understanding & Knowledge on process eng for dairy & beverage operations
• Good understanding on components used in liquid food industries
• Understanding on Energy & Mass balancing across the process operations
• Fluent in English (verbal and written)
• Open minded to new ideas and innovation (change champion)
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Good communicator to present technical solutions
• Works on multiple projects/tasks if required
• Lead the project on technical side.
• Team player, self-motivated, go-getter
