• Development and implementation of safety-critical software for electronic interlocking systems (E-IXL)
• Modeling and analysis of safety logic in accordance with railway engineering requirements
• Ensuring compliance with relevant CENELEC standards (EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50716)
• Integration of safety software into complex system architectures in interdisciplinary teams
• Documentation, verification, and continuous optimization of existing software solutions

• Completed degree in electrical/systems engineering, transportation engineering, or comparable technical training
• Experience or interest in safety-critical software development
• Knowledge of IEC languages (e.g., FBD or structured text)
• Ability to work in a team and good communication skills, independent and focused approach to work
• Very good German language skills
