Role Overview
We are seeking a Mid to Senior Level Electrical Engineer / Project Manager with 7+ years of experience in building systems design within a consulting engineering environment. This role focuses on designing electrical power and lighting systems for a range of commercial and institutional projects while managing client relationships and internal project coordination. The ideal candidate has a Professional Engineer (PE) license, strong technical expertise in MEP/architectural engineering, and hands‑on experience using AutoCAD and Revit.
This is a full‑time opportunity with a preference for candidates who can work primarily in-office, with some hybrid flexibility available.
- Design electrical power and lighting systems for commercial and institutional buildings
- Develop construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit (engineers complete their own drafting)
- Manage projects from concept through construction administration
- Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, plumbing engineers, and other design professionals
- Review drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and code compliance
- Perform load calculations, lighting design, and electrical system layout
- Attend client meetings and participate in project interviews
- Support multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining schedule and quality standards

- 7+ years of experience in electrical engineering within a consulting or architectural engineering firm
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required

- Ability to manage projects and communicate directly with architects and owners
- Strong understanding of applicable electrical codes and industry standards
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Experience in consulting engineering rather than utility companies or equipment manufacturers
