Epsilon C5I (), a division of Epsilon Systems Solutions, is a 100 percent employee-owned company founded in 1998 with more than 20 locations serving the Department of Defense, Department of Energy, Department of Homeland Security, non-profit and commercial customers. The Dayton division has recently been named as one of only five prime awardees for the 10-year, $4.7 billion NOVASTAR contract supporting the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC), WPAFB, Ohio.
The RF Modeling and Simulation Engineer/Scientist will conduct in-depth radio frequency (RF) modeling and simulation of targets of interest to support Department of Defense customers. The selected candidate will perform signature production in accordance with established production processes and techniques to analyze data, generate RF signatures, document produced signatures and conducted analysis, and disseminate results at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) at WPAFB, Ohio.
Candidates must be able to work independently and as part of a technical team and have effective oral and written communication skills. Successful candidates will have strong problem solving and critical thinking skills. Desire an active TS/SCI clearance.
Job Duties
- Generate RF signatures in accordance with well-established production procedures
- Write analysis reports and develop briefings
- Produce reports on signature production results
- Work independently and in a team environment.
Required Qualifications
- At a minimum, Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or mathematics.
- 10 + years’ experience in engineering, science, or mathematics.
- Pursuant to the various government contractual requirements, all applicants must be U.S. Citizens.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret with SCI clearance.
- Prior experience working in a Linux environment.
- Use of Matlab.
- Familiar with Xpatch electromagnetic simulation tools.
- Knowledge of Radar Cross Section (RCS) analysis techniques, high range resolution profiles, RF scattering.
- Knowledge of signal processing techniques.
- Regular communication (hearing/speaking).
- Noise conditions range from very quiet to very noisy.
- Prolonged use of computer (typing/keyboarding).
- Frequently required to sit for long periods of time, stand, and walk.
- Ability to travel by car, air or other means of transportation, if required.
