Role Overview

We are establishing a new Memory and Custom Layout Design team in Germany and are looking for experienced layout professionals who enjoy technical ownership, mentoring, and shaping teams
.

This is a long-term leadership opportunity for someone who wants to influence how things are built
, both technically and culturally — not just execute tasks.

The role combines hands-on layout expertise with team-building and technical leadership responsibilities
.

• Provide hands-on technical leadership in Memory and Custom Layout design

• Own layout quality, reviews, and sign-off readiness

• Lead and mentor engineers, fostering strong layout fundamentals and best practices

• Drive complex layout and sign-off challenges with rigor and attention to detail

• Help define and evolve layout flows, methodologies, and technical direction

• Collaborate closely with global architecture and circuit design teams

• Support the build-up and growth of the team from an early stage

• Memory Layout Design
  :

  • SRAM

  • Register Files

  • ROMs

• Custom Layout Design for complex blocks

• Strong exposure to FinFET-based technologies (across leading foundries)

• Ownership of layout execution through sign-off
