Global Engineering Business Partner OpU; m​/f​/d

As the strategic interface between Global Engineering and Operating Unit (OpU) leadership you ensure engineering initiatives are aligned with business objectives and executed effectively across pharmaceutical manufacturing sites within designated OpUs.

• Act as primary engineering advisor to OpU leadership, translating business needs into engineering strategies
• Lead CAPEX planning and execution for the assigned OpU in cooperation with Global Engineering, ensuring harmonization of equipment and infrastructure based on global standards
• Coordinate engineering activities across multiple sites within the OpU to ensure consistency and compliance
• Monitor and improve engineering KPIs such as OEE, MTBF, and energy efficiency for designated Op Us
• Ensure GMP, EHS, and regulatory compliance across all engineering operations
• Drive sustainability initiatives including energy management and environmental impact reduction
• Promote adoption of digital tools for predictive maintenance and asset management
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain
• Represent engineering in OpU governance and strategic planning forums
• Lead OpU and plant engineering talent development and succession planning

• Master’s degree in engineering, pharmaceutical technology, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical engineering, focus on intravenious injectables and/or aseptic manufacturing with global or multisite project or line responsibilities
• Proven track record in CAPEX execution, equipment implementation, and regulatory compliance
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and intercultural communication skills
• Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., German, French) are a plus
