Main responsibilities:

• Responsible for the quality of some of the purchased parts and products
• Requesting, following up on, and reviewing root cause analyses and measures (8D reports) in the context of supplier complaints
• Structured qualification (including risk assessment) of purchased parts and products at and with our suppliers as part of product development projects in cooperation with colleagues from technical purchasing
• Qualification or acceptance of processes by means of process and product audits at our suppliers
• Conducting supplier audits for new suppliers as part of our supplier qualification process, as well as for our long-standing supplier base
• Systematic implementation of structural quality measures together with our suppliers

Requirements:

• A degree in engineering with relevant practical experience or technical training with relevant further qualifications (e.g., technician or master craftsman), as well as professional experience in the field of product quality.
• Very good knowledge of quality management methods, ideally in relation to supply chains
• Knowledge of normative and legal requirements (e.g., ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016)
• Training as a quality auditor with experience as an auditor in supplier audits is desirable
• Recognition of technical relationships and component requirements, as well as knowledge of production techniques and processes
• Very good communication skills, ability to work in a team, and assertiveness
• Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP QM
• Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
