At Lilly in Germany, we are currently planning and building a high-tech production facility in Alzey (Rhineland-Palatinate), which will expand our production of injectable drugs from 2027 and employ up to 1,000 specialists. To make the most of our innovative production site, we are looking for motivated reinforcements who, together with us, will ensure the supply of Lilly medicines in Germany, Europe, and worldwide, in line with the three Lilly values of "Excellence," "Integrity," and "Respect for People."Join
our Lilly team in Alzey and start as soon as possible as:
** Engineer – Supply Chain Process Engineering (m/w/d)
** The Supply Chain Process Engineer will join the Supply Chain and Logistics team supporting the deployment and routine operation of the site intralogistics system for commercial operations (Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS), Material Conveyance, Automated Guided Vehicles, etc.).Core focuses within the function:
• Intralogistics Integration
• pFMEA Controls for Material Flow
• Supply Chain and Logistics Engineering
• Supply Chain and Intralogistics Digitalization
• Continuous Improvement
* You will drive lean principles and ensure efficient and effective material flows are maintained.
* You will support end-to-end integration of innovative supply chain solutions for high-speed automated logistics operations.
* You will coordinate cross-functionally to optimize intralogistics operations.
* You will create and implement standard operating procedures for automated handling.
* You will develop and implement pallet and bin cleaning strategies.
* You will define robust material identification strategies and implement process FMEA action items.
* You will identify and implement business continuity strategies for the intralogistics system.
* You will support the deployment of digitalization for intralogistics system monitoring and warehousing operations.
* You will manage change controls create work instructions
* You have a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Management, or a related field.
* You bring 3+ years of intralogistics experience.
* While GMP/pharma experience is preferred, you are eager to transfer your intralogistics expertise from other industries to our regulated environment.
* You have Project Management skills, preferably within the Logistics or Supply Chain areas.
* You have the ability to work across multiple organizations and sites to achieve accomplishments.
* You exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* You bring good organizational skills, prioritize tasks effectively, communicate clearly, and have a keen eye for detail. Your flexibility allows you to juggle multiple tasks seamlessly without losing focus.
* Your have strong analytical and quantitative problem solving skills

* You have good German and English skills.
