Yourmission
The Technical Product Manager will be responsible for supporting our customers and sales team to lead training initiatives, approve complex contracts, promote LONGi's product during fairs and exhibitions while building up-to-date product knowledge across our organization.
Responsibilities- Support customers & sales, promoting LONGi and its products (PV + energy storage) and services, building product knowledge and establishing excellent communication with customers
- Provide detailed technical support to customers and sales team with focus on the utility business in Germany
- Meet and visit customers regularly to provide updates and insights on technology and new product offerings; interface with clients’ technical departments for guidance on products, services and installation features
- Help manage the product support structure within the region and provide technical input to customer contracts
- Analyze customer feedback on new products and communicate to the internal product development team for improvement
- Create product promotion materials based on regional characteristics
- Support after‑sales team activity when technical criteria are needed for complex claims
- Good communication skills; comfortable making technical and marketing presentations at conferences and trade shows, as well as training customers
- Fundamental understanding of PV ingot/wafer/cell/module manufacturing technology; knowledge of system integration basics preferred
- Prior experience with energy storage products
- Familiarity with Levelized Cost of Electricity and ability to pitch product USPs regarding this aspect to customers
- Proven ability to perform technical reviews for complex contract negotiations, with experience in contract management and pre‑shipment QA/QC; post‑delivery claims experience is a plus
- Experience working at companies within the utility‑scale segment (preferred PV product/component suppliers)
- Proficiency in Chinese, English, and German
- Science or engineering degree with 5‑8 years of experience in electronics and/or photovoltaic industry
- Willingness and availability to travel frequently, sometimes on short notice
