F-16 Sensors Engineer, Principal F-16 WAM (Top-Secret)

Credence, a privately held defense solutions provider, supports mission‑critical needs for the U.S. Air Force and allied partners. We are seeking a Principal F‑16 Sensors Engineer to support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center WAM (AFLCMC/WAM) directorate, F‑16 division at Wright‑Patterson Air Force Base, OH.

The F‑16 Viper is a multi‑role fighter delivering air‑to‑air, air‑to‑ground, and surveillance capabilities. The role involves integration and acquisition strategy, system engineering, test and evaluation, and information assurance for F‑16 sensor technologies.

• Develop and execute acquisition strategies for F‑16 USAF and FMS programs.
• Translate customer requirements into program requirements for hardware and software, including F‑16 PVI.
• Lead sensor development and integration engineering and overall F‑16 systems engineering for OFP software and hardware.
• Produce Systems Engineering Master Plans (SEMP) and Test‑and‑Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs); review contractor reports.
• Resolve ground and flight test anomalies for sensor integration and development programs.
• Support F‑16 Information Assurance (IA) and (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). avionics sensors on the fighter platform, including fire‑control, stores management, pilot displays, and electronic warfare defensive equipment.

• Active top‑secret clearance.
• Master's or Doctoral degree in a related field with at least 20 years of experience, 12 years in the DoD; OR Bachelor's with at least 25 years of experience, 15 years in the DoD; OR 30 years of directly related experience with required certifications, 20 years in the DoD.
• Minimum 15 years of F‑16 fighter weapons systems integration program office experience, detailed knowledge of all USAF and FMS configurations.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in fighter platform avionics sensor development/integration engineering.
