Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Test Engineer to join our team, focusing on Body Control Module (BCM) testing and validation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive electronics, embedded systems, and functional testing to ensure BCM performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute test plans for BCM functionality, diagnostics, and communication protocols (CAN, LIN). Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for BCM software and hardware. Validate BCM features such as lighting, wipers, door locks, windows, and other body electronics.
  • Utilize HIL (Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop) systems for automated testing. Work with tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, Vector tools, and NI LabVIEW for simulation and analysis.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with design teams for resolution. Prepare detailed test reports and maintain documentation for compliance and traceability.
  • Ensure BCM meets OEM specifications, ISO 26262 functional safety, and AUTOSAR requirements. Support EMC, environmental, and durability testing as needed.
Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in automotive electronics testing, preferably BCM or similar ECUs.
  • Proficiency in CAN/LIN communication, diagnostic protocols (UDS), and test automation.
  • Hands‑on experience with HIL systems, Vector tools, and test benches.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Preferred Skills
    • Knowledge of embedded software development and scripting (Python, CAPL).
    • Familiarity with ISO 26262, ASPICE, and automotive cybersecurity standards.
    • Experience with OEM validation processes and DFMEA/PFMEA.
    Soft Skills
    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
