Process and Technical Engineer

To support Gatterstadt site’s development, production flows optimization and ongoing projects, we are looking for a junior Process and Technical engineer.

Contribute to the performance and achievement of expected objectives of the site. Support the ERP change (from SAP to MS Dynamics). Contribute to develop technical knowledge and competencies on site to contribute to the site’ operational results.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Contribute to the preparation of investments for production; formal check and support in preparation of investments for other activity areas (e.g. building, logistics) etc.
• Provide the support for material supply, machinery use, production methods and procedures to ensure production capacities for planned production volumes in safety, requested delivery, cost and quality terms
• Permanent research and proposals of technical and process improvements. Minimize of scraps
• Support during installation of new machines and equipment as well as for maintenance of the current equipment
• Commit to project work in terms of development of new products, packaging etc.
• Ensure follow-up of internal quality flows
• Perform safety visits in production, risk analysis and propose improvements
• Work in close collaboration with ERP change project team and local financial, production and logistic colleagues. Help to solve coming issues and to train site´s end users to guarantee accuracy of site´s master data in ERP system, in accordance with any changes

• Engineering degree (General, Mechanical, Process optimization… )
• First experience or interest in an industrial environment You are hands‑on and proactive, and like to be on the field
• Team player
• Fluent in German and have an advanced level in English
• Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. SAP, MS Dynamics) is a plus
• User knowledge of engineering software like ACAD, SOLIDWORKS, Lantek, Cadman, etc.
