Senior AMS Design Engineer

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in analog and/or mixed-signal IC design and verification, ideally in automotive, networking, or communication domains
• Proven track record in developing and verifying complex AMS blocks (e.g. ADCs, DACs, PLLs, LDOs, CDRs)
• Proficiency in design tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, AMS Designer, etc.
• Experience with behavioral modeling (Verilog-A/AMS) and AMS verification methodologies
• Strong understanding of advanced CMOS process nodes
• Structured, proactive, and able to work independently and cross-functionally
• Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus)

The following qualifications will be considered a strong asset:

• Experience in requirement traceability management and ISO 26262
• V-Model product development lifecycle

• Develop analog and mixed-signal circuits for safe communication technology products
• Derive requirements and define specification for AMS circuits
• Design and implement ICs in advanced CMOS technologies (e.g. 22nm, 16 nm)
• Develop behavioral circuit models for verification
• Perform pre-silicon verification of AMS circuits at block level
• Support integration and verification of AMS IPs at SoC top level
• Document design work and participate in reviews
• Collaborate closely with system, digital, and layout teams to ensure first-pass silicon success
• Support post-silicon validation, root cause analysis and performance optimization

Our preference is on-site work at our headquarters in Dresden, as close collaboration with the team is an important part of this role.

Working hours: 40 hours per week
