- Development of structural concepts for satellites and payloads
- Responsibility for structural requirements definition
- Responsibility for the structural sizing and analysis, including engineering planning, coordination and conduction of structural analysis, structural modelling and assessment, documentation and communication of results
- Definition and support of structural verification tests, including test specification, test prediction, test conductance and test evaluation
- Technical support for the system engineering in the domain of structural engineering
- Technical support or management of subcontractors
- Technical management of a structural development team
- Documentation and reviews
- Support of process, tools and methods development and maintenance
- Temporary or permanent other reasonable, comparable activity, which corresponds to the qualification and skills
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering with focus on Structural Engineering
- Profound knowledge of structural mechanics
- Knowledge of static, dynamic, acoustic and thermo‑elastic analysis
- Basic knowledge of system engineering
- Knowledge and experience with structural analysis software, such as Hyperworks, NASTRAN or ANSYS
- Fluent in English reading and writing
- Strong sense of responsibility
- Organised, structured and target‑oriented
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Business travel willingness
