• Development of structural concepts for satellites and payloads
• Responsibility for structural requirements definition
• Responsibility for the structural sizing and analysis, including engineering planning, coordination and conduction of structural analysis, structural modelling and assessment, documentation and communication of results
• Definition and support of structural verification tests, including test specification, test prediction, test conductance and test evaluation
• Technical support for the system engineering in the domain of structural engineering
• Technical support or management of subcontractors
• Technical management of a structural development team
• Documentation and reviews
• Support of process, tools and methods development and maintenance
• Temporary or permanent other reasonable, comparable activity, which corresponds to the qualification and skills

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering with focus on Structural Engineering
• Profound knowledge of structural mechanics
• Knowledge of static, dynamic, acoustic and thermo‑elastic analysis
• Basic knowledge of system engineering
• Knowledge and experience with structural analysis software, such as Hyperworks, NASTRAN or ANSYS
• Fluent in English reading and writing
• Strong sense of responsibility
• Organised, structured and target‑oriented
• Team player with excellent communication skills
• Business travel willingness
