Key Responsibilities:

• Translate customer requirements and emerging market trends into detailed technical specifications for electrified powertrain features.
• Oversee the design, development, and validation of propulsion systems, including:
  • Energy management strategies
  • Torque delivery mechanisms
  • Drive mode functionalities
• Manage and mentor system engineers to derive system-level requirements from technical specifications and ensure alignment with overall vehicle architecture.
• Work closely with hardware, software, and vehicle integration teams to ensure cohesive system performance and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system requirements, validation results, and technical decisions.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Strong understanding of energy management, torque control, and drive mode strategies.
• Experience in managing engineering teams and system-level requirement derivation.
• Native German speaker or EU citizenship.
• German language proficiency at C1 level or higher (mandatory).

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with automotive standards and safety regulations (ISO 26262, ASPICE).
• Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
