- Command and Control:
Deliver state-of-the-art instruction on indoor skydiving maneuvers, ensuring participants master body positioning, safety protocols and control techniques. - Engage and Energize:
Be the face of iFLY, engaging participants with enthusiasm, professionalism and a passion for flight. - Safety Oversight:
Enforce all safety standards, maintaining a safe environment and ensuring smooth, secure operations. - Pre-Flight Prep:
Conduct flight safety instructions and techniques, answer questions, and help calm pre-flight nerves. - Post-Flight Debrief:
Provide constructive feedback to boost confidence and skills and motivate new flyers. - Teamwork:
Collaborate with fellow instructors and staff to promote a cohesive, supportive team environment. - Continuous Training & Feedback:
Stay updated on the latest training tools and techniques to enhance instructional skills and customer experience. - Drive Add-On Sales:
Promote additional flight time, high flights, return visits, or media packages as appropriate.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be in great physical condition; the role is physically demanding for long periods.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays (busiest times).
- Interest or background in coaching, teaching, or activity-based/entertainment-oriented roles.
- Positive attitude, high energy, and professional appearance.
- Commitment to continuous improvement through training, learning, and feedback.
- Safety-focused and able to work well within a team.
- Onboarding includes a Flight Instructor Training Program lasting approximately 4 to 5 months with hands-on training.
- Relocation to a different location/state will be necessary during training; financial support for relocation expenses provided. Details expanded during interview.
- During the TRAINING PROGRAM, iFLY guarantees a minimum hourly rate of $20.00.
