Volunteer language exchange German​/Spanish

Volunteer Language Exchange is a newly conceived initiative that seeks to connect students of different languages in a remote environment. We are launching this project with the idea that students should be able to exchange their valuable skills at no extra cost.

This option does not substitute other face‑to‑face alternatives which might offer additional benefits to the student but it is a great opportunity for those who need or prefer to study online.

The teaching and learning sessions will be agreed by you and the other student so that it suits your personal and professional life.

To become a volunteer professor of German on a remote environment while you learn Spanish in the same number of hours.

• Enhance student's level of German by preparing a learning plan and materials.
• Organise your lessons by making the most of the agreed time and taking into consideration any requirements or suggestions given by the other student.
• Adjust your teaching style to the specific needs of the learner considering progression made and weaknesses identified.
• Bring along any additional resource material which might be beneficial for the learning curve of the student.
• Keep reasonable track of weaknesses and recommendations identified to use them in later sessions and monitor accomplishment of a successful learning curve.

• Experience using conferencing tools and presenting online material.
• Ability to spend time in a one to one session and focus on the objective of improving the student's level of German and learning skills.
• This is a remote opportunity and your current location will not impact whether you succeed in your application.
