The Osun State Government has commenced the recruitment of teachers into the state public basic and Post-Basic schools. This development, according to information made available to , will attract about 2,500 additional teachers in classrooms across the state.

Applicants are required to pay a N3500 application fee as part of the process.

• Qualified to teach English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities or Social Sciences
• Possess the Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) from WAEC, NECO or Teachers’ Grade II Certificate, obtained in no more than two sittings
• Additional qualification:
  Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE), Degree in Education with relevant teaching subjects, Basic Degree with a postgraduate diploma (PGD) in education, or Higher National Diploma with a PGD
• Teacher Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certificate will be an added advantage

• Recent passport photo
• Functional mobile phone line
• Functional e-mail address
• Local government certificate of origin
• Birth certificate
• Attestation from two referees
• Means of identification
