Position Summary:

The Title I Teacher provides targeted, small-group and individualized academic interventions to students identified as needing additional support in literacy and/or mathematics. This position plays a key role in improving student achievement by using data to deliver research-based instruction, collaborating with classroom teachers, and engaging families in the learning process. The Title I Teacher supports the school’s overall goals for equitable student outcomes through a Multi‑Tiered System of Supports (MTSS).

• Deliver supplemental instruction in reading and/or mathematics aligned to student needs.
• Implement evidence‑based intervention programs and strategies.
• Use formative and summative assessment data to monitor student progress and adjust instruction.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to align interventions with core instruction and state standards.

• Participate in data team meetings and support the identification of students for Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date progress monitoring records and intervention plans.
• Assist in the analysis of school‑wide data to inform Title I programming and support.

• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress, strategies for home support, and Title I services.
• Support and participate in parent involvement activities as required by Title I regulations.
• Provide resources and guidance to families to promote student learning beyond the classroom.

• Serve as a member of the MTSS or building intervention team.
• Maintain compliance with Title I federal guidelines, including documentation, confidentiality, and program evaluation.
• Participate in professional development related to intervention, data analysis, and instructional practices.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the school’s Title I School wide or Targeted Assistance Plan.

Position Type: Full‑time

Salary: $39,367 to $66,924 Per Year

• Valid Ohio Teaching License (appropriate grade level and subject area)
• Highly Qualified Teacher status as defined by federal guidelines
