Northridge Local Schools is seeking a qualified Long-Term Substitute Spanish Teacher for the school year
. This position provides instruction to our middle and high school students and may offer the opportunity for continued employment beyond the long-term substitute assignment.

Position Overview:

The Long-Term Substitute Spanish Teacher will deliver effective, standards-aligned Spanish instruction while maintaining a positive and supportive learning environment for students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction in Spanish aligned with district curriculum and Ohio Learning Standards
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that support language acquisition
• Assess student progress and provide feedback
• Maintain a positive, well-managed classroom environment
• Collaborate with department members, administrators, and support staff
• Communicate effectively with students and families as appropriate

Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio teaching license or substitute teaching license with Spanish endorsement preferred
• Strong knowledge of Spanish language and instructional practices
• Effective classroom management and communication skills
• Dependable, organized, and student-centered
