High School English Teacher

The Pike-Delta-York Local School District, in Delta, Ohio, is seeking a passionate educator to work as a
English teacher at Delta High School. Pike-Delta-York Local School District recently received a 4 Star rating from the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce, and the district has a high performing staff and strong student body excelling in both the classroom and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications:

The district is looking for a high school English teacher who demonstrates initiative, is data driven, and has a track record of improving student achievement in a collaborative environment.

The successful candidate must possess patience; impeccable communication skills (both written and oral) with students, parents, and staff; excellent organizational skills; great interpersonal skills; the ability to work collaboratively; the ability to apply critical thinking skills; and the ability to multi-task.

The candidate must possess a valid teaching license for the position (7-12 English).

The successful candidate will be expected to exhibit character and professionalism that reflects positively on the district.

Successful candidates must have the ability to provide an acceptable BCI/FBI background check.
