Overview
Ntare Louisenlund School (Rwanda) aspires to become the premier educational institution in Africa, delivering an exceptional international education and pursuing the IB Diploma (from 2028 onward). The school offers the Plus-STEM program to attract talents in mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, and technology in Rwanda and East Africa. The Admissions Officer role supports the Director of Admissions, PR & Marketing in managing the admissions process and enhancing the school’s visibility through creative content, combining administrative coordination with photography, design, and communication support to ensure a smooth experience for prospective families and a consistent, engaging brand presence.
The school operates a strategic partnership with Ntare Louisenlund CBC and Stiftung Louisenlund, with a focus on excellence across locations in Germany and Rwanda, and envisions partnerships with the Rwandan government to identify Plus-STEM students eligible for government scholarships.
Responsibilities- Assist in managing the full admissions cycle from inquiries and tours to enrollment, ensuring timely communication and accurate record keeping.
- Support visa processes for international students and prepare enrollment reports in compliance with school and ministry guidelines.
- Capture and edit photos and videos for admissions events, marketing, and social media.
- Design and produce visuals for digital and print materials such as brochures, newsletters, and social media campaigns.
- Help maintain a cohesive visual identity and engaging storytelling across all PR, admissions, and marketing platforms.
- Collaborate with the PR & Marketing team on campaigns, creative planning, and event coordination.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in admissions, marketing, or communications.
- Strong communication skills in English and Kinyarwanda (French an advantage).
- Proficiency in Canva or Adobe Creative Suite, plus basic photography/video skills.
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and customer service orientation.
- Creativity, initiative, and ability to work independently and proactively.
- Knowledge of the Rwandan or international education systems is an asset; knowledge of Rwandan education system and international curricula (e.g., IB, Cambridge) is a plus.
We offer a competitive compensation package, which will be determined based on the contract type and the selected candidate's qualifications and experience.
