We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician to provide locum tenens coverage near Lucas, OH. This opportunity is ideal for a physician looking for flexibility and the chance to work in a supportive environment with a strong focus on patient care.

• End Date: Ongoing
• Schedule:
  • Regular shifts available, including daytime and nighttime blocks.
  • Upcoming shifts include February and March hospitalist schedules.
  • Includes active floor rounding during shifts.

• Setting: Inpatient coverage, with no outpatient duties required.
• Patients Per Shift: 3-6 patients.
• Bed Count: 24 in the department.
• Admissions: Required.
• Call Requirements: No supervision of advanced practice providers; some call-back scenarios may occur.

• Certifications:
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • ABLS and BLS required.
• Licensing: Must hold an active OH license or qualify for IMLC.
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in both routine and high-risk obstetric care.
  • Competence in surgical and minor gynecological procedures.
  • Ability to handle complex deliveries, VBACs, and emergency scenarios.

• EMR System: Epic.
• Support Staff: Includes a team of RNs.
• Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 45 days.

• Trauma Level: Level 3.
• Pediatrics Level: Level 2.
• Privileges: Temporary privileges available for a quick start.
