Dentist

We are seeking an experienced Dentist to provide 16 hours a month of direct patient care in a correctional health setting at the Corrections Center of NW Ohio in Stryker, OH.

Dentist 16 hours a month – Part‑time position in a unique correctional healthcare environment.

• Provide and manage direct dental patient care, including oral examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment for the specified population in a correctional healthcare/dental setting.
• Prescribe pharmaceuticals and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed oral conditions.
• Manage the daily operations of the dental clinic at the facility.
• Participate in and direct health promotion, education, and prevention programs for inmates, and provide in‑service training for health staff members.

• Current state license as DMD/DDS.
• Current DEA registration.
• Current CPR certificate.
• Proficient with electronic medical records.
• Ability to pass pre‑employment Level 2 clearance, including background check and drug screen.
