- Project Execution:
Provide direct field leadership and technical oversight. - Ensure project profitability and quality standards.
- Conduct comprehensive on-site project assessments.
- Develop and implement project-specific strategies.
- Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and specifications.
- Advise Estimating and Design; identify potential construction challenges early.
- Recommend cost‑effective design modifications.
- Verify all project costs are accurately reflected in the estimate.
- Recognize any shortfalls in the estimate for materials and labor.
- Field Operations Expertise:
Manage the construction and installation of assigned projects. - Plan labor hours, materials and subcontractors for assigned projects.
- Supervise and schedule the day‑to‑day activities for one – four crews.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex field challenges.
- Ensure proper project sequencing and execution for each project.
- Operate various tools and equipment when needed.
- Ensure all work activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
- Communicate with clients, vendors, subcontractors, etc. in a professional manner.
- Own the client relationship.
- Quality Assurance and Best Practices:
Maintain the highest quality in every aspect of the project; implement continuous improvement processes; recognize that quality should never be sacrificed.
- Minimum 5 years of Landscape and Construction Project Management.
- Ability to multitask and manage 1-4 crews simultaneously.
- Capable of operating power tools, small engine equipment and heavy equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
- Knowledge of construction materials, masonry, and hardscapes.
- Ability to construct irrigation and drainage systems.
- Effective communication skills.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Reporting Structure
- Reports directly to the Senior Project Manager.
- Manages personal project portfolio.
- Provides mentorship to Supervisors and Crew Members.
