Whatwill you be doing?
As an Assistant Director, you will work with the Center Director, teachers, and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care, according to NAEYC guidelines.
Responsibilities- Ensuring the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks - 12 years.
- Ensuring that all staff members understand the objectives and expectations within each classroom.
- Assisting the Center Director with adherence to child care licensing requirements as well as internal policies of the company.
- Handling administrative duties within the center office.
- Substituting as Center Director in the event of their absence.
- Providing effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.

- Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education/related field required
- 2+ years of child care or teaching experience preferred
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build relationships with children and families
- Ability to multitask and remain organized
- Ability to work within regular operating hours
- Must meet state criteria for child care employment
