Assistant Preschool Teacher – Part‑time

We’re hiring part‑time Assistant Teachers for the preschool program at Powel Crosley, Jr. YMCA. Do you love working with young children, energetic, enthusiastic, and fun?

Pay: $13/hour.

• Assist with day‑to‑day operations of the preschool classroom.
• Help implement class curriculum, activities & experiences in a developmentally‑appropriate manner under guidance of the Lead Teacher.
• Utilize a diverse selection of materials to meet all students’ needs.
• Facilitate a classroom inviting exploration, promoting positive plan, and welcoming children.
• Promote teamwork through positive interactions with students, parents & staff.

• At least 18 years old, high school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet all child care licensing requirements.
• Previous experience working with preschool‑age children preferred.
• CPR & First Aid certifications must be obtained/maintained throughout employment.
