Weaver Brands is seeking an organized and collaborative Project Manager to lead the execution of new product development initiatives from concept through launch. This role plays a critical part in turning ideas into successful products by coordinating cross‑functional teams, maintaining project momentum, and ensuring alignment across Category Management, Marketing, Sales, and Operations.
The Project Manager will own Weaver’s stage‑gate development process and help bring innovative products to market efficiently while supporting strategic growth initiatives across our brands.
Job Responsibilities- Lead and manage product development projects from concept through commercialization.
- Drive adherence to Weaver’s stage‑gate process to ensure clear milestones and accountability.
- Develop and maintain project timelines, priorities, and launch schedules.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams including Category, Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Innovation.
- Identify risks or roadblocks and proactively lead mitigation plans.
- Track product updates, artwork changes, quality improvements, and cost revisions throughout development.
- Facilitate recurring project meetings and ensure alignment across stakeholders.
- Support prioritization and visibility of the innovation pipeline in partnership with category leadership.
- Monitor project KPIs and report progress toward launch readiness.
- Lead post‑launch reviews to capture learnings and improve future execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum four (4) years of project management experience leading complex, cross‑functional initiatives.
- Experience working within consumer goods, manufacturing, or product development environments preferred.
- Familiarity with stage‑gate or structured product development processes strongly preferred.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with the ability to influence across teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- Self‑starter with strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Able to work on‑site at our Mt. Hope, OH headquarters; some travel may be required.
