As a Business Generalist
, you will play a key role in advancing the mission of a global automotive organization by supporting the execution of business objectives and strategic initiatives. This role blends business acumen, organizational discipline, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment, transparency, and data-driven decision-making across the enterprise.

The Business Generalist partners with leadership and key stakeholders to gather business requirements, track performance against operational goals, and support strategic planning activities. In addition, this position provides administrative and coordination support for enterprise tools, templates, training initiatives, and executive meetings.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain calendars, visual communication tools, and standardized templates to ensure clear communication of business planning milestones
  • Partner with management, technical, and product development leaders to collect business theme requirements and organize them within the North America regional business framework
  • Aggregate and analyze quarterly business results and present insights to senior leadership to support decision-making and strategic planning
  • Support the enterprise system used to manage the ADC business portfolio
  • Assist Business Planning team members with data analysis, summary development, and preparation of content for executive stakeholders
  • Coordinate schedules, timing, and logistics for recurring and ad-hoc meetings, working closely with executive administrators, HR, corporate communications, and other stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Business Planning, HR, and external partners to support learning and development programs for executives, business theme leaders, and the regional planning network
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support day-to-day business operations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, communications, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in engineering, business, communications, or a related field
  • At least 1 year of experience providing administrative support and project coordination
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Familiarity with project management tools, collaboration platforms, and AI-enabled tools
  • Bonus Skillset:Business Operations Certification
  • PMI-CAPM Certification
