What you'll build

As Digital Sales Development Manager (f/m/d) you will lead a team of Generalist Digital Sales Demand Executives for different LoBs like SCM, F&S as well as HCM. Your team will support the Market Units Germany, Switzerland and CEE. You will work together with Sales Management, Demand Management, Marketing, Business Development, Partners & Externals to support the revenue goals by development, creation and nurturing a high-quality sales pipeline for our fast-growing businesses.

In addition, you will be responsible to lead and drive strategic Cloud Transformation campaigns within specific customer industries and align with all key stakeholders to drive growth.

Responsibilities include the following:
  • Manage and develop a team of specialists and young professionals through operational involvement, day‑to‑day‑coaching, career development and value creation. Attract and recruit new talent.
  • Innovate and co‑innovate with other teams in SAP around digital demand delivery, customer value communication, social selling, customer, and partner collaboration.
  • Identify and leverage best practice pipeline growth activities by strong cross‑team collaboration with all demand stakeholders to drive productivity and incremental contribution.
  • Ensure continuous optimization and monitoring of lead hand‑over, opportunity identification, creation and nurturing process to achieve best possible business goals.
  • Implements an energetic culture of trusted growth and digital innovations execution and incubation to drive cloud business growth in close collaboration with the Market Unit/Business area sales management.
  • Own and front‑run strategic demand execution programs and coordinates with LoB’s and Partners to optimize coverage.
  • Drive the necessary analytics and planning to setup a consistent operating model and target settings and fulfillment directly connected to the business targets. Continuously monitor, steer, discuss and communicate results and improvements along the demand funnel to create necessary quality pipeline for business growth.
  • Run an agile collaboration with Demand Management and the other Digital Roles along the sales cycle to drive high opportunity volumes, opportunity velocity and pipeline conversion to closed deals.
  • Works with the Digital Hub and Digital Hub Talent leader to drive a culture of constant learning, customer focus, creativity and adoption of Digital Modalities, AI tools and supporting technologies.
What you bring
  • Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in business administration or comparable.
  • Excellent organizational, business strategy planning and project management skills. Strong problem structuring, case creation and skills – paired with a high energy level of “can do” mentality.
  • Knowledge of the SAP Sales organization in the Market Unit Germany and Switzerland, its sales leadership, partner ecosystem, and customer industries. Experience in close and trusted collaboration with MU teams, especially the business development (demand, marketing), customer advisory, partner, and the sales teams engaged on the to-be covered corporate sales territories.
  • Excellent understanding of Demand Funnel Management, the systems, workflows and processes, its internal and external stakeholders to drive a high performing demand execution and conversion engine.
  • Strong product selling and value proposition creation expertise around S/4H Public Cloud and SAP Industry and LoB solutions, customer buying center acquisition, virtual sales team and partner collaboration.
