Reports to:
Director, EMEA Product & Content
- Product Life Cycle Management — Lead all phases of the product life cycle including development, introduction, maturity, decline, and End-of-Life management
- New Product Development — Manage the NNA (New Number Announcement) process, coverage ratio improvements, and product range development in coordination with Content and Sales teams
- Market & Competitor Analysis — Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning; maintain benchmark pricing against key competitors
- Product Strategy — Define and lead mid- and long-term product strategy in cooperation with Sales, Marketing & Content
- Business Development — Visit key customers, identify business improvement opportunities, and support commercial growth initiatives
- Pricing & Profitability — Cooperate with Price Manager and Sales Managers on pricing policies, special price requests, and promotional campaigns
- Cross-Functional Collaboration — Work closely with Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Marketing Communications to ensure optimal product performance, quality, and availability
- Sales Performance Monitoring — Track product sales performance, propose corrective measures, and drive SKU adoption across all customers
- Communication & Content — Lead timely communication of critical product information through product bulletins, newsletters, presentations, and marketing materials
- Planning & Forecasting — Contribute to the Annual Budget process and provide market demand insights to support optimal stock level management
Education:
Degree in Business Administration and/or Engineering and technical-related field
Experience:
4+ years in product management within a global organization in Automotive Aftermarket
Technical Knowledge:
Strong technical knowledge and understanding of automotive components
Analytical
Skills:
Ability to use data to make sound business decisions and identify new opportunities
Tools:
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Microsoft Excel)
Languages:
Fluent in English (written, spoken, reading);
German is a plus
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Independent problem-solving and leadership abilities.
