About the RoleThe Business Development Manager (Heating) is responsible for identifying new business opportunities within Germany, Austria & Switzerland . You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role combines strategic planning, market research, sales, and partnership development to help the company expand its market presence and achieve long‑term goals. The primary focus of this role will be to specifically develop the sales channel for Air to Water and electric portfolio as well as working cross functionally with the cooling team within the HVAC Division.

Responsibilities Business Growth & Strategy- Identify new markets, customer segments, and revenue opportunities within Germany , Austria and Switzerland.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business growth targets.
- Analyse industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Generate, qualify, and convert leads into business opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and pitches.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals that align with company objectives.
- Develop and manage customer pipeline.
- Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
- Understand client needs and collaborate with internal teams to provide tailored solutions.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Work closely with marketing, sales, product, and operations teams to execute business development initiatives.
- Provide market feedback to assist in product development and service enhancements.
- Monitor and report on sales pipeline, performance metrics, and forecasts.
- Prepare regular business reports and present insights to management.
- Track ROI of business development activities.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain productive professional relationships.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
- Expert knowledge of the HVAC market and heating systems.
- Knowledge of market regulations, subsidy programme and certification requirements.
- An established network of contacts across the value chain – installers, developers, architects, consultants, wholesalers and distributors.
- Knowledge of competitors products and their route to markets.
- Fluent in English and German, French would be highly desirable but not essential.
- High technical knowledge of products and systems for A2W and associated systems.
