Trade Compliance Analyst TCRS

The Trade Compliance Analyst supports U.S. import compliance activities with a focus on import entry process, duty recovery, and audit readiness. This role works closely with international suppliers, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate documentation, timely submissions, and full compliance with CBP and government agencies’ import rules and regulations.
This is an in-office position based in western Ohio (between Dayton and Fort Wayne, IN).
Relocation assistance is available.
EXPECTATIONS- Ensure compliance with U.S. import regulations with CBP and Other Government Agencies
- Validate HS classification and country of origin to ensure accuracy
- Prepare and review data and documentation for importation
- Coordinate with suppliers, brokers, and service providers to ensure compliant import shipments
- Track inbound shipments and maintain metrics related to volume, entry timeliness, and mode
- Support audits and risk assessments, identifying and implementing corrective actions
- Maintain report visibility related to refunds claimed, received, and outstanding
- Identify duty savings, automation opportunities, and process improvements
- Work with cross-functional teams as trade subject matter expert, provide import training as needed
- 5+ years of experience in trade compliance, customs, focused on U.S. import regulations
- Degree in international business, supply chain or a related field preferred
- LCB or CCS certification preferred not required
- In‑depth understanding of U.S. and international trade laws, including HTS and Country of Origin
- Experience supporting audits, investigations, and regulatory inquiries
- Strong data analytic skills with attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with trade compliance software and tools and automation
- Ability to travel as needed
