Midwest Tape, LLC is a provider of digital library services, headquartered in Holland, OH.

Full-time, onsite position;
Monday‑Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Base Pay Range

$50,000.00 / yr – $60,000.00 / yr.

Position Summary

The Bid Specialist is integral to the success of Midwest Tape‑hoopla. The role involves identifying Bid/RFP opportunities, conducting thorough research on customer data, and overseeing the project management of Bid/RFPs issued by libraries.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Understand and interpret the requirements of bid documents and manage all aspects of the bid process.
  • Respond to and complete all bid/RFPs as they come in through various libraries and Bid services.
  • Work with accounting, marketing, sales, and legal to provide succinct and beneficial responses to all bid requests.
  • Compile comprehensive bid documents.
  • Follow‑up with all open bid opportunities to ensure that responses were completed as directed.
  • Manage ongoing opportunities in Salesforce.
  • Track bid statuses and outcomes.
  • Provide reporting as needed.
  • Manage multiple bids simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of contract terms and effectively manage contracts.

Preferred Education Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Experience
  • 2–4 years in bid management or a similar role.
  • Experience with Loopio or similar bid software, Salesforce.
  • 2 years of project management experience.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
  • Regularly sit for extended periods of time.
  • Perform repetitive motion‑type tasks.
  • Must be physically present for meetings, presentations, and training.
  • Ability to work on‑site in a team environment.
