Assistant Manager (Research Admin/School)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support for research activities, including proposal submissions, progress and final reports, and proper closure of projects and accounts.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to assist faculty in establishing contracts and agreements with individuals or organizations necessary for research activities.
• Oversee research accounts from award to completion, ensuring compliance with funding agency requirements and policies.
• Assist with the submission of grant variations and amendments.
• Promote effective record‑keeping practices among faculty to ensure easy access and adherence to regulatory requirements for document retention.
• Provide secretarial support for review panel meetings.
• Collect and compile research data and statistics.
• Enhance the accuracy and efficiency of research data reporting through process improvements and automation.
• Undertake other ad‑hoc projects and initiatives as assigned by the Office.

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree with prior experience in grant management or research administration
