Overview
KNR is seeking a highly organized Legal Administrative Assistant to provide day-to-day administrative support to our Litigation Paralegal team. This role is essential in maintaining smooth workflows, managing documentation, and assisting with routine legal and administrative tasks so that paralegals and attorneys can focus on complex casework. Responsibilities- Organize, maintain, and update case files to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare correspondence, forms, and basic legal documents under supervision.
- Complete data entry within case management systems as directed.
- Prepare file materials, trial binders, and exhibits at the paralegal s instruction.
- Support daily administrative tasks such as mail processing, copying, printing, scanning, and file organization.
- Provide general administrative assistance to ensure workflow efficiency across the litigation team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge
- Standard clerical and general office administration procedures.
- Familiarity with legal terminology and processes (preferred by not required).
- Working knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
Skills
- Strong written communication, including grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
- High accuracy and attention to detail in document preparation and data entry.
- Proficiency with computers and office software; case management experience a plus.
Abilities
- Follow directions clearly and complete assigned tasks reliably.
- Adapt to shifting priorities and support urgent needs as they arise.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
- Work collaboratively and professionally with paralegals, attorneys, and staff.
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience in a professional office or legal environment preferred.
- Ability to work a standard Monday - Friday in-office schedule, with occasional overtime.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working at a computer
- Occasional lifting up to 40 lbs
- Standard office environment
