Accounting Coordinator We are looking for a detail-driven Accounting Specialist who enjoys working with numbers, solving discrepancies, and keeping financial operations running smoothly.
In this role, you will be involved in several core accounting functions — from customer billing and fixed asset capitalization to monthly reconciliations and audit support. You’ll play a key part in ensuring financial data is accurate, timely, and reliable while collaborating with a supportive accounting team in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Billing & Revenue Support
- Prepare and process customer billing while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
- Support cash applications and maintain accurate customer account records
- Maintain Construction in Progress (CIP) schedules and reconcile balances
- Capitalize fixed assets and ensure proper documentation and classification
- Perform monthly balance sheet and account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Assist with monthly closing activities, including journal entries and account analysis
- Support AP functions to ensure vendor invoices are processed accurately and paid on time
- Work closely with the Accounting Manager and Assistant Accounting Supervisor on special projects and process improvements
- Tax & Compliance Support
- Process payroll tax payments on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Help ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Assist with documentation and schedules for annual and semi-annual audits
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred
- Equivalent accounting experience will also be considered
- Continuing education in GAAP and accounting best practices encouraged
- At least 2 years of accounting experience with exposure to:
- Fixed assets
- General ledger
- Billing and accounts receivable
- Cash receipts
- Account reconciliations
- Month-end closing
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
